A hothead is a person who is impetuous or easily becomes angry and violent. Having a hothead is something most people would like to overcome as responding to a situation negatively will only bring negative results.
How do we stop being impetuous? How do we act instead of reacting? We react out of anxiety and frustration that has built up over time and finds a release catalyst in certain situations.
Meditation soothes away anxiety, and of course, frustration will melt away too as is the product of unresolved anxiety. When we are calmer and have more clarity, we won’t react. The actions or events that usually triggered a reaction, no longer do so – and we can therefore act rather than react, which will bring positive results.
